Dropped in to my dealer on the way passed last week...asked him what the reaction had been to the car on show evening.....he said customers described the design as "challenging"
but
They have deposits for 20 so far, with a lot more interested...seems looks aren't everything after all...
He did acknowledge that the majority of unfavourable comments were reserved for the rear end...."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Its the lack of symmetry on the rear for me. i think that if the number plate was to the left it would be ok but its neither. love the rest of the car but its so expensive in the end i went for a FFRR

I'm not so sure that Gerry McGovern's forward slanted and body coloured C pillar was originally "borrowed from" the Saab 9-5 after all:

I'd not thought of that one! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as โsecondโ cars ๐
2021 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built โ14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
