Re: Autobox flush advice

Now ive posted a couple of times in regard to having a flush done on the autobox
ive 111k on the D3 I have had for about 3 months
its my first auto so I dont fully know how they should or should not behave
I dont have any faults showing when read
one thing I do want to clarify if it can be is when 6th gear selects , its about 65 -70 ish on mine, seems high or is it ?
I am looking at booking in at LRS Offroad in Doncaster as they now have the tech to flush
wanted Goeff really but hes not sure when hes coming up North
im a bit worried its a little late at 111k after reading so many box issue posts but want to maintain the box as we will be towing next year 6 or 7 times including the annual trip to Cornwall
be gentle Thumbs Up
Phil

I had my gearbox flushed a couple of weeks ago.
The revs where a bit dancing and I had a small vibration when accelerating.

I was really pleased with the results, feels so smooth now.
Mine has done almost 400k though.
It can really save you a lot of money. Make sure they change the filter as well.
I got the advice to use manual shift when towing heavy, but a lot of people feel fine towing in auto.

Surely gear change kicks in when the revs are around 2500rpm, depending on how hard you are pressing the accelerator of course. But it's down to the revs not the speed.

Update
I've been flushed today , asked them to keep some fluid from the process
as below

Not a deal to note in driving maybe just a tad smoother , or placebo
