So instead of taking it to LR, the repairer decided to take the back O/S suspension apart and rebuild it. I've not seen it yet, but apparently the wheel now looks much more upright!
I've insisted it goes to LR for them to do a 4 wheel alignment and sign off, and will not accept it back without a signed OK from LR. Going to be another week as the nearest available slot is next Tuesday in Guildford.

Sounds like they are trying to avoid it going to LR for a proper check for chassis damage and correct alignment to me. Just trying to get it to look better and fob you off I reckon. I would want to be there to see any checks carried out by LR are actually done, and the results. Like I said, these people cannot be trusted, no matter what insurance company they are repairers for. : Rolling Eyes

Well I feel vindicated.
Called LR today to see what they'd found, and it turns out they discovered a rear tie rod was bent.
Frame is OK apparently.
They are replacing the component and will completely align and calibrate the suspension - back and front, as they also noticed the steering wheel isn't centred and I said it was pulling left.
