Long story,

Changed IC hose.
Changed brake bulbs
Changed right EGR valve.
Changed throttle body. Had a hole in it.
Changed oil sump.
Changed brake switch
Changed battery

Have been driving for over a month without problems, but yesterday when going to the country P2290 came back and limpmode.
Cleared faultcode and restarted, came back three four times until i came to the country house.

Now I have successfully returned back to Stockholm (2 x 60 kms)
No fault codes, no limpmode.

Possible faults?
1. Fuel rail pressure sensor (on left side fueil rail)
2. LPFP
3. HPFP
4. Fuel filter
5. Something electrical (brake switch and brake bulbs changed)

Know my TC has to be changed. Revs going up and down and vibration 1500 - 2000 rpm.
But can this have something with P2290 to do?

Similar to my issue here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic157222.html except I dont have these fault codes showing. I to have replaced some of the parts you have and nothing seems to fix my problem.

High fuel consumption

I use to get 24 mpg local running around town but recently my fuel consumption rose so I’ve been only getting 16 mpg. I’ve also got a warning message on start up saying Engine System Fault which could be the Turbo actuator arm sticking. I’ve recently sprayed the Actuator Arm and it’s now moving freely. I reset all the fault codes using my GAP11D tool but the Engine System fault is still there . Someone has told me too replace the Fuel rail pressure sensor as this could be the cause of my high fuel consumption and the engine system fault. I’m going to fit the new sensor this weekend. I let you know if it’s successful . Last weekend I Took my Nearside Front wheel off, removed the Heat Sheild to allow me access to the Turbo Actuator. It had become very tight operating. After a good spray with WD40 ( The new tins of WD40 with the flexible metal pipe are great for directing the spray directly onto the Actuator Arm) . Everything was put back together and I’m still getting Engine System Fault message just after start up so it’s the changing of the Fuel pressure sensor next. Again I’ll let you know how I get on.
