My new (to me) D3 HSE
Collected my first Disco, and 4x4 last week. So far (touch wood) very happy with it. I've replaced the number plates, wipers, led bulbs inside/rear plate and given it a good clean. One wheel is probably going to need a refurb (brake dust) and the front lower bushes will need replacing soon-ish but I knew that anyway.
Seems a good example, with two owners full LR history. Future plans probably rear D4 lights, not sure about front end yet - not a huge fan of the headlights on the 3 but not a fan of messing about too much with a car.

Welcome fella,looks very nice. If you like messing you will not be disappointed as there are loads of mods that can be done.

Didn't take long to start messing about with it Added a gloss black side vent and some D4 rear lights. Deciding which front grill to go for and will partly de-tango the headlights. Nothing else planned really apart from sorting some bushes shortly. Really enjoying it so far though!

That is beautiful - have you machine polished that??
Hoping to buy a black D3 tomorrow and even more excited having seen your pics, I like the D4 lights - do you mind me asking where you got them and the vent?

Thanks for your kind words. It looks shiny, but as usually the case with black cars there's a lot of swirls etc so it will be getting a polish.
Vent was from eBay, £20 search for Hawke. Lights were used from the forum.

So far so good...changed the front lower arms for RRS items, has mostly stopped the knocking although I am going to change the ARB bushes too Grill shall be on order in the new year, and I'll have a go at the headlights too. Thinking about some black gloss 20'' D4 Landmark wheels too...
