Ah well, owning a disco that's a constant like tinnitus, you have to learn to live with and ignore it Laughing

found an easy solution

not to put money into a wallet Big Cry

D3 should have a built in note machine , just keep feeding it , lol

a lot easier and less painful Rolling with laughter

but the joy u get out of a D3 is priceless Thumbs Up

Lucky man....well done

Thanks for the kind words, good luck hope you find a nice one!

Nothing much to add at the moment, going to do the ARB bushes this month and possibly get the grill sorted. Got to recover from Christmas and multiple birthday expenses yet... Laughing

That looks good, have you any side images of the wheels please? Couple of mine could do with a refurb so I may go for that rather than changing them!

I have 3 sets for this D3

These are the originals that I have had powder coated in Sparkle black

These are some HSE six spokes powder coated gloss black with MTRs

And a set of these which are also gloss black sorry the only full pictures I have of these on the car arent great

Ive also just taken these off a mate who wanted them powder coating but his better half has said he cant spend the money on them! I have a set of New MTRs that I'm going to put on these tomorrow.

Not sure what it is about wheels, you start out with none then just seem to collect them along the way...

It doesnt help that City Powder Coaters are just near one of my customers in Brum, so its easy to get them cheaply refurbed if I come across a set at a good price...

Cheers for the images, food for thought. The options really are to have my current wheels refinished in either gloss black or anthracite, OR change the wheels completely and go for a set of gloss black - I do like the 20'' landmark wheels...

Anyway today I fitted a new grille, NS Bosch wiper and some LED sidelight bulbs. The bulbs are MUCH better, brighter and a far better colour match to the dipped beam (although they now look a bit yellow!).

I might have the grille resprayed in Santorini as unsure if I like the gloss effect. Suppose it looks worse as it's new and the car is filthy.

Jobs to do:

9 year service & arb bushes next month
Replace a parking sensor that's playing up
Refinish or replace wheels
De-tango headlights
Possibly replace Land Rover and Discovery etc badges with black badges. Quite like the stealth look and my Discovery badge is a bit wonky (OCD)
Persuade the OH that removing the side steps is a good idea, I hate them, she thinks they're useful..

Serviced, bushes and some other minor bits completed yesterday so it's all up to scratch Thumbs Up

Can anyone tell me if Disco 4 TPMS wheels will fit without issues? Just wasn't sure if you can use those valves, assume only an issue if your car has the sensors and the wheels don't?! Seen some gloss black 511 wheels I like..

Some new pics, fitted some nearly new 511 wheels, black badges front/rear and ditched the '3' and 'tdv6' badges. New centre caps should be here tomorrow. I don't plan on doing anything else now apart from a de-tango and a good polish in the spring. I like the stealthy look although appreciate some won't Laughing Thumbs Up

I'll be keeping my old wheels as I still fancy a late D4 at some point and would like to swap the new wheels onto that.

Finally, to ditch the running boards or not? I personally hate them but my wife likes them for the kids...I keep saying the access mode setting will sort that. Sick of cleaning them and getting mud on my jeans when climbing in/out Whistle
