121 views and only one comment... Thought I'd add my tuppence worth...
If you have a Commercial, then the VAT has been recovered for a reason - once you start adding OEM LR seats back into the mix I fear that you are trying to reverse engineer a 'car' and, as such, dodging the tax man rather than having van conversion seats which are suitable for 'occasional use'.
I believe a Commercial should remain true to its roots - if you want a car, buy one!D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY

Only use defender for work and green laning every two years. Struggling to find a replacement. I knew someone would bring up the vat issue but only use it to tow. We work in teams of three and four. Just prefer to drive a British built LandRover than a van. Looks like we refurb the defender or buy Mercedes sprinter 4x4, as I refuse to buy Double cab pick up. The defender is fast approaching 60k and feeling tired we used to change at 40k every 18 months.

If you are looking to tow, then the Commercial is a cracking bit of kit...
If you need seats for any reason, I'd strongly suggest using Atlantech who offer van conversions and will provide a Certificate of Conformity for an N1 registered vehicle - this would appear to be a far better option than fitting second-hand seats to create a car-like environment.D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY

Or travel to Ireland and buy one of the last few genuine factory built five seater D4 N1 vehicles and see what the UK taxmen think of that!2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
