Same here.
But looks like mine is on the way out. Amp reading is only 3.26A.
Unfortunatelly I cannot read the pressure as I do not have 90 degree extension for the schrader valve. As my car is early D3 (Oct 2004), the valve is under the ledge of the firewall, thus I cannot connect anything with straight pipe to measure (no space above the valve). LR D3 S Black, Auto TDV6

Have now been driving more with my full tank.
Seems that the fault does not happen now.
Will see when the tank starts to empty when the fault comes back again. Will not take long time. I just get 15ltrs /100 kms. Must be something wrong.
So 2 questions.
Why does the fault not happen with a full tank?
Can it be one of the pumps?
Does the problem make the car to use so much diesel?

That's 3 questions!
Don't know - perhaps the bottom of the filter is blocked meaning flow is restricted when the level of fuel is low?
It was the in-tank pump in my case - replacement resolved the issue
No, don't see how it could. -------------------------------------------------------------------
