Trailor LED fix for D3
Hi guys, hitched up a trailer today with LED lights, everything works but even with everything turned off the indicators are still flashing dimly like as if fourways are on. Did my homework and found its a common problem on D3s towing anything with LED lights but couldn't find how to resolve it. Its a 2006 model. It wont show on bulbs as they are 21watt,so there is a load on system an I think computer reacts, but with LEDs there only 6 watts. So with no load the rear sensors, traction control and trailor light on dash don't alter to allow for trailer. Has anyone come across this and what was the fix, thanks

Can I suggest you make a huge flask of tea then use the search feature on here to search for 'Trailer LED'.
NasherHeaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

Trailer anti flickering circuit
Made this simple drawing earlier...
Works fine on mye trailer.
Should be better drawn up though..... lol
Main reason for resistors in this circuit, was to let the car " see" thats trailer connected, and get the Trailer symbol flashing in the instrument panel.
If u just wanna avoid flickering, relays are enough.
Probably other ways to do it, but this was the easiest for me.

Surly load resistors (e.g off ebay) fitted to the trailer would be sufficient
