Sloping back is my big worry too i looked at everything before committing to my current D4 even had a FFRR on order at one stage but the compromised boot space was just too big a deal. some kind of custom or T6 could be the only option left if landrover get the D5 wrong for me and after ten years of D3/4s ill be gutted  MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

It's really never been a noticeable issue for me. Had both MY10 & MY12 discos with worse hesitation. People who have had issues on the Volvo forum say the Polestar upgrade makes a huge difference. The D5 looks exactly as the same as the vision concept, so that gives you a very good idea of what the back is going to look like, the question that still needs clarifying is the spilt tailgate, but the general concensus is that it hasn't got one. 2012 - 8 Speed D4 HSE in Indus Silver with surround cameras, adaptive headlamps, privacy glass, rear entertainment, 20" alloys.
