I always understood, provided the vehicle reached 'working' temperature (to the halfway mark on the temperature guage thingy) it should not be a problem. I barely do more than 8 miles most days.....
Mind you ....I try to remember to take it out for at least thirty minutes or more for a 'good run' if its only done short journeys.... in any week.... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Ok, car has been in for the 1st service, which was covered under the plan I purchased when I bought the car (what a bargain). They did the three campaign fixes without prompting. The ironic thing is that they forgot to fill the adblu, this after I gave them the landrover rescue doc telling them it was giving me the message 'Diesel exhaust fluid not of correct quality' and they told me they could not find any warning message (because it appears the LR call out cleared it on my drive ).
Going in shortly for a top up and they will sort out the plastic caps under the rear seats that keep popping off every time we fold them flat and return them to upright. My car was the first 2016 MY they sold and has gone in 6 weeks early for the service so maybe it caught them out. Their service checklist doesn't mention it !
I mentioned the external temp issue but they seems confused by that, so not sure if I have it or not.
Cheers
