I have a jack adapter which a local machine shop made for me, it fits in the holes in the chassis rails and also in the top of a standard trolley jack. makes certain it won't ever slip off. I didn't realise you need to put it in any mode to jack, I just had it in standard height when I did my wheels.
When did "rotating" the wheels come back in ? Last time I looked at a handbook it told me not to.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

The front tyres have worn on the outer edges - so I've swapped them to the back. I can then upgrade all 4 when the time comes to something more AT.

just had my front tyres changed and they
put it in off road setting
hazards on
open the tailgate
had no problems
i assume when jacking the car it's to stop the air suspension from trying to adjust
may sound daft question , would it be better to remove the battery terminals , or could u still cause damage plse
thks

Well I for one just jack the car up, don't know if right or wrong. To me it sounds like a D3 going though the Masonic lodge.

The instructions in the manual are for using the suicide jack included with the car, that locates on the chassis rails.
Normal height.
Crack tension off wheel nuts (c.1/8 of a turn).
Trolley jack on the wishbone.
Lift a bit, wait for the suspension to raise the tyre off the ground then change the wheels.
Final tighten of wheel nuts to specified torque once wheels back on ground.

I did that the other month with my GG AT2's and have had an annoying vibration at 60MPH since. Waiting for them to wear down again so hopefully it will go away D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten
