Had a half shaft come out of the bearing on a mk1 cortina once

Wheel couldn't escape due to the ride height and the wheel arch

Did result in no foot brake, hand brake or drive to slow the car down while descending a steep Devon hill with multiple corners Shocked Shocked Shocked

Got to to bottom in one piece after using grass verges, the hedge rows and much "snaking" to keep the speed under control

No relation to the tread but that's how it happened....not a dramatised version

And a Suzuki X90... Only drive that at night
