I like the idea of this and the look of the black ones - BUT...
If the air bag goes off it is quite likely that you will forever have a landrover oval on your forhead!
I really dont think glueing it on is the right way to do this- the original metal tag method was done for a reason!

Nothing beats the power of Araldite .
I have always said, as long as you have a roll of Duct Tape, a couple of tubes of Araldite and a few cable ties - nothing can stop you

Black centres ...
... I just bought some (black RRS centres) they are exactly the same size and (outside) silver colour - only the badge colour is different - they just snap into place ...
However .... ALOT easier if you take the wheels off! They just push out from the back ... If you try to remove them from the front, there is a danger you will scratch the alloy wheel
I changed mine while the wheels were off ... hope this helps.
If you want the part no. I think I may be able to find it somewhere ...

I replaced the wheel centres and front , rear badges not so long back and quite straight forwards.
There is mention of various ways to remove the Grill, tailgate badges, but i used the hairdrier to heat the existing badges and then one of the hobby type scalpels you get. Just pry under the edge of the badges gently and they will start to lift enough, to get a fine blade eletrical screw driver under them.
Heat the plastic again with the hairdrier and heat the rear of the badges prior to removing protective tape and stick.ATB

Fitted black/silver wheel centres and front/rear badges this weekend which look much better with Stornoway in my opinion. Would very much like to do the steering wheel badge (which I already have) but I am nervous of making a mess of it! Did I read somewhere (but can't now find it!) that the RRS airbag cover has a black and silver badge already and is a direct replacement? if so, maybe it's hideously expensive or complicated to fit??
