What was the exact manner of death?
Oil pump casing tensioner mount. Never mind aluminium, they should make them out of titanium.

The 2.7 was in Peugeots, Citroëns, and a couple of Jags.

I'm not sure how different the various internal parts and ancillaries are though. I know Disco Mikey did a swap with a Jaguar engine.

The Ford Territory version is a pretty straight forward swap, and is as close as it gets to the EU4 D3/D4 version.

AND the Territory engine is totally impervious to any variety of rips in the space/time continuum. Laughing

Hmmm. For half a 20 ft container (probably be enough room to get 10 crated engines in?) from Brisbane to London, about AU $2200. Over a thousand squids, ~ a hundred quid apiece.

How much does a used D3 engine go for over there?

A good, low mileage engine is anywhere from £1500-£2000 now. I have noticed they have come down recently from £2.5k+ My D3 Build Thread

That's a shame. At £1500 there's no money to be made. At £2500, it could have been a goer though.

Maybe you could start stockpiling them Willy

The old 200Tdi engine has outlasted the chassis and body of many D1s - its weak link now appears to be the engine - I suspect in years to come there will be D3s with a sound structure needing a new engine
