That's in 14 months since I got it and its not used as a daily driver Total mileage is 135,000.
Have owned quite a few Land Rovers over the years and I would rank the D3/4 as 1 of the 3 best products LR have ever made, the other 2 being the original RR and the Series.==================================

Ten Years and Owner Satisfaction still is PERMAGRIN
VIN: 136A356669
My base model, 'S', in Australia, was built in late August 2005; arrived in Australia late December(?); got it's Australian Compliance plate 30th Jan 2006; then registered and PDI 31st January 2006.
Except for the unbelievable catastrophic engine failure at 142 000 km (and Land Rover Australia pathetic response), current (mileage; but in kilometres), 187 000, the permagrin has faded only by the slightest amount.
Yes Martin, a 10 year icon would be nice to see.
BTW, Martin, keep up the good work, it is much appreciated. This must the be the best (and calmest) vehicle owners' site that there ever has been. (However I haven't visited the Roll Royce owners' site; if it exists even!)LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

Can I join? My car is old enough being first registered on my birthday- St Andrews day 2004. (I was born a year or two earlier).
Sadly I've only owned her since Nov '14, but I love her to bits. (hopefully not too many bits). Was a wonderful place to be in the drive up to the Lakes at Christmas in the horrific weather conditions.
Mainly used by my wife as I'd prefer her and the bairn to be in the big and safe, but I use her whenever I can.
I'll apply for honorary membership, having made 10 & 1/4 years before waving it goodbye a few months ago. Best car I've ever owned, in terms of practicality, reliability (sorry, Del) & comfort - just needed a town/A-road car instead.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Nice idea, is it intended for anyone with a 10+ year old one or only those who have actually owned one for that long?
Still remember my 1st one, and the 2nd, and the 3rd and the 4th..................................

I originally thought it could be for anyone who still owns a Disco 3 which is over 10 years old and still in their possesion, if the idea is accepted I'm sure Martin will figure out the best way of implementing it. Nice to see others feel the same
