I'm a bit puzzled about the date range they quote on their website, it says they fit everything from 2005 to the present day on one listing and 2005 to 2009 on another listing. I thought the injectors changed to the piezoelectric type when Euro iv came in in about 2007. Am I right on this or did I imagine it?
All D3 and D4 (diesels) use Piezo injectors
The EU4 have different nozzles, and different internals to cope with the higher pressures and lower emissions
All the part numbers relate to EU3 injectors, not the later EU4, nor Jag/PSA etc My D3 Build Thread

Do you read that as the injectors have been produced from 2005 to the present, rather than they fit Discoverys produced from 2005 to the present?

How will the EU4 engine run on these Jag injectors? Poor MPG and/or loss of power?

So these will be perfectly fine for my car then?
Shall see what they say about a group buy.
Ideally, I would likely them to be below £130 each inc vat.
This is coming out of the "I need a new gearbox fund" so cheaper the better.

I might be interested in a couple at £130 each providing they are the real deal and not "refurbished" (which is not currently possible).

Got a reply.
Ribble can sell me injectors at a best price of £110 +vat, which is £132.
There is a £40 surcharge per injector which is refunded when the old ones are sent back.
For the group buy, he would need numbers to be able to work out a best price for them.
£132 is a decent price for them.

If these are new injectors, why do they want our old ones?
I'm out. As already said, you can't refurb these injectors because the parts are not readily available from VDO Siemens.

I've replied asking if they are new or reconditioned.
The link says new. They do sell reconditioned injectors for other makes but they say reconditioned in the title.
Rather interestingly, Geoff's link has went from £125+vat to £180+vat.

Yes, I also just noticed that.
Perhaps they are applying the same pricing algorithms that Land Rover themselves have developed...

The injectors are reconditioned ones for the £132 price.
Curious how they did it as I found your thread from back in November about the lack of spares and nozzles for them.

Yes, I'd love to know how they do it, too.
I spoke to several diesel injection specialists around the country (but not these). They all said that spares were not available.
Personally, I would avoid reconditioned ones. These seem the best price I've found for new VDO Siemens ones:

Time to have a chat with my Land Rover guy.
I don't want to be pouring cash into this hoping it works as its too expensive to be hoping for the best on a chance.
I don't understand why bank 2-4-6 have changed when they weren't touched.
Value 1 went from 772 to 919
Value 2 went from 1049 to 1143
Value 3 went from 1032 to 1205
Value 4 went from 972 to 1258
Value 5 went from 1349 to 839
Value 6 went from 704 to 750
5 I can understand as that's the one I changed.
1-3 are now trying to find a balance over the 3.
Why would 2-4-6 all increase though.
This is giving me a sore head, and likely a very sore wallet.
