I'd be happy with a world class Sat Nav. Instead of one of the worst.

+1 on that. Perhaps even extend it to an adaptive pressure system for off-roading. Smile

I reckon we could see a rear E-diff as standard on some models. Perhaps a variable damper system. I'd like to see a lighting system with adaptive focusing - I think we may see a variable dipped beam cutoff. Wink

Maybe we'll see RR features like retractable side steps and climatic seats etc.

Have to say, I'd rather be a luddite with regards to dubbs' 10; I'd take 1, 6 and 9, albeit with little enthusiasm, but tish to the rest - just IMO. Thumbs Up

We scoffed at the electric tailgate on the RRS but it is one of the most useful things on it in the way of gadgets. Is easy to implement if they stay away from the split too Crying or Very sad

Opening panoramic roof is very nice. Climate seats are not that useful - adaptive cruise has it's place but also causes issues as it can't be set to 'normal' cruise and it can be distracted by slow moving vehicles on a motorway. Needs some improvement. Auto TR seems fine, Heated Steering Wheel a must. However DONT lose the Bixenons - singles on the RRS are much worse so unless the new laser ones are top notch, the D5 will be poorer if the single xenon approach of the FF and RRS is adopted. Needs to have the fridge back as standard!!

+1 for better control of the infotainment - pretty poor at present

Electric towbar seems capable and much less grief than the removable on the D3. As long as the fixed stays as an option though. Oh, and put the battery in the engine compartment, not under the spare wheel in the boot Thumbs Up

Needs to have the middle row of seats folding flat to give a full 6' load space. The FF and RRS all have a mid row seat back which won't go flat as the mid row base doesn't tip. Needs to keep the D3 seat mechanisms as they are.

The most useful bit of kit I've had on any car has been the speed limiter - an absolute godsend on the XF ! Hardly ever used cruise control by comparison.

Have to disagree about the electric taigate being useful. It is a man's right to show that he can still shut the boot while carrying 20 bags of shopping... Very Happy

No reason adaptive CC couldn't function as normal CC if LR implemented it that way (but would/will they). Wink

They're still bi-xenon, and they all only have a single HID bulb; you mean don't loose the additional halogen lamp? I quite agree with that, though other methods are available. Laser lights currently have very limited benefits over LEDs in the real world and are primarily a marketing gimmick at this stage, so I would like to see LR make the sensible choice and stick with the cheaper option of LED/HID. Thumbs Up

All of what Dubbs Said plus:

1, HUD
2, Apple Play including separate Apple Play for each rear Media screen
3, Separate Climate control that runs properly whilst engine is off (maybe like FBH) for pre cooling for Pets etc.
4, Proper Split charge battery system with integrated monitoring etc.
5, No hassle tow electrics that work with LED lights.
6, Rain sensing sunroof auto close ( Embarassed )
7,Dedicated phone dock in dash board (no messing with cables just slide it in)
8,Ability to view cameras through remote app.
9, Self cleaning cameras (like Nissan)
10, More suspension control than just the usual 3 heights. Would be good to have access to super extended before you get grounded!
11, Built in fault code reader that can display but also upload codes to LR Assist and dealers via the Remote Assist connection.
12, Hybrid Engine that can be used for performance, economy and special terrain modes such as quiet and low emission green laning, maximum torque mode for recovery operations and also the electric motor can operate a winch maybe.
