Tow ropes/straps

I currently have LRs own tow rope rated at 3t, used it a few times, mostly to start my brothers Transit Laughing

Thinking of replacing it with a strap. What's people's recommendations on weight/length/brand etc? It will mainly be used to assist stuck vehicles during winter weather and provide assistance to broken down vehicles (move to a safe place for proper recovery).

Sorry if it's been covered to death.

Used it several times and well up to the job but small and light enough to keep tucked away in the vehicle. Also have a shackle to fit through front towing eye to keep with it. 2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony
2012 D4 HSE - Orkney/Almond - gone
2009 D4 XS - Buckingham/Ebony - gone

MrH siad he's retired from any more GB's now but at the end of the now locked thread he left the details of the people who made the ropes, you could contact them direct.

I'm yet to use my GB rope in anger but I'm planning to get myself purposely stuck over xmas just so I can use it! Twisted Evil
