Front lower control arms were just done about a month ago, shouldn't they have picked this up? Or not related?--

unfortunately that is the one from the LR dealer, vehicle is still under service plan.
will go past my indie at some point to confirm.--

Is it a thud or a clonk? A clonk would be synonymous of worn bushes in the lower wishbone. When you say control arm, do you mean the big black wishbone shaped thing that sits at the bottom of the air spring, and is attached to the chassis by big bolts and bushes?
Obviously there could be a thud on sharp application, but the clonk I am talking about is very noticeable.
to me, it almost feels as if the brakes are biting too hard if I stab the brakes too hard.
the mech told me they all do this, even new ones. --
