Raising Suspension - Restricted Performance
Got an odd one, didn't see anything obvious when I searched.
I've a '10 plate D4 GS.
Last week, gf noticed a high-pitched noise which went away a few minutes after starting. Next day, I fired the car up on the drive, and noticed the same thing. Raising and lowering the car made it stop.
Yesterday, I dropped the car to access height to let her elderly granddad get in easier. When I raised the car, I got a "bong" and "restricted performance" message. Tried stopping and restarting, made no difference. However I drove from Luton to central London (down the M1) and as far as i can tell, the driving performance was unaffected. Didn't try the suspension height again though.
Anyone got any ideas?

Forgot to add, when we went back to the car a couple of hours later, the warning was gone. I take it the codes are logged somewhere?
Might try to provoke the same issue later, just don't want to get stuck!

Well, this morning I raised the car up and down repeatedly without any issue.
Sigh! Would be nice to provoke it to fail before my warranty runs out in July!

Mine did this, fault should still be stored unless it goes after so many engine restarts?
