Annoying 'ticking' returned this summer - anywhere between 17 - 20 degrees with a pretty high humidity level..... I'm just 'living with it' (as I may have mentioned before....) 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

All still good with mine regarding creaks, only current issue is a faulty window wash fluid sensor, seems there is always something wrong with it_______________

How are you guys getting on with these creaks. I bought my my15 in January and it was creak free until march. I took it to 1 dealer having read this post and was quoted 173 quid to replace the trim clips. I did this myself knowing it wouldnt solve it. Off to another dealer next week (the one i bought it from). Im hoping to get this all done under approved used warranty. If not ill be welding it myself. Do you have any pictures of the repair under the trim panels please?
Ive tried chiselling the seams and that stopped it for a few months so now im assuming i need to get the seat belt repair welded.Good bye untrusted p38

Mine still 'clicks/creaks' as expected when the weather/humidity is 'just right'
No pictures of what was done - but I'm pretty sure I saw diagrams of what should be done by LR or whoever....... but if it was done on mine it didn't work and I'm not sure if its worked for anyone unless its been mentioned elsewhere on this thread/forum....2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

It was purchased off main dealer so they've booked it in at the start of December free of charge as it's a known fault will keep you posted how I get on.

Well guys, I can finally say that on my third summer and after multiple visits to the dealer, this issue seems to have been sorted..........OSR waist seal replaced and problem has stopped. It feels like I am driving a different car !
The waist seal is the part that sits at the top of the door panel where the window glass slides up and down when opened and closed (the outside seal).
Maybe the sun/heat was softening it too much and there wasn't enough pressure to stop the glass vibrating which in turn felt / sounded like it was the B pillar........anyone suffering this issue, try having someone in the back seat pressing on the glass to see if it resolves it !
I am happy..........so far in any case !
Thanks - Paul

Excellent news! The dealer "mended" mine. They said it had gone to the body shop to have all the spot welds re welded. I inspected it and all the had done was beant the seem on the passenger door seal. That took them 2 weeks! Anyway it started rattling again so i took a hammer and center punch to it. It only started rattling again about 6 weeks ago when it warmed up! Ill definitely get some one to hold the glass! ThanksGood bye untrusted p38

It worked for a while.....
So i drilled a 2- 3mm hole just under the seat belt attachment point,... then put a 25mm screw in it and its fixed.
Its something really simple, just hard to spot exactly what is doing it65 plate D4, Corris grey, dark grey/black interior. 66k miles

Hi all, newbie here, just been told by Stratstone Landrover Nottingham that this TSB (which affects my D4) would be chargeable to resolve. Can anyone confirm if this is normal please? Vehicle is on LR used approved warranty, although I’m not sure if that would make any difference. TIA.
