13 PIN ORIENTATION Query

On my MY16 Discovery I have found that the 13 PIN socket near the detachable tow ball has the flap hinged on the left hand side.

On previous vehicles the flap has always hinged at the top.

Has mine been fitted correctly for this particular vehicle, or has a mistake been made?

Thank you.

Hi, on the D3/4 the 13 pin socket is installed so the cover hinges from the side, so yours is OK Smile

That was a quick reply!

Very many thanks; I now no need to worry that the garage had made a mistake.

Cheers NSE.

They should all hinge left or right to accomodate the adaptor for the twin 7-pin electrics without fouling on the towing eye.
