You can see what I like to fit happily charging on my bench. It also happens to be what JLR fit to new vehicles. Great batteries at a great price (when not purchased via Land Rover).

The vehicle will then do some interesting things to learn the battery charge and discharge rates and state of charge estimation.
The one pictured on my bench above will be doing the same shortly, albeit in an RRS 8-speed.
Whoops! I have had a glass mat (AGM) battery on my D3 a couple of years now and never changed any settings. I do have a IID tool so is there settings to change on a D3 also and if so will it still be beneficial after all this time?D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
