Thanks for replies.
I went to see Geoff and he couldn't locate it to be where the picture illustrates.
It may be as youve said above to be burried deep somewhere which I will try to find someone with a little better mechanical skills than me to remove seat and try locate.
Thanks guys

Did mine a couple of weeks ago.
I searched for a while, and eventually found it.
The big tip I'd give is that the three green/white wires are not the thicker ones but the very small gauge ones.
I eventually found mine in a different place to everybody else on here.
the splice was alongside the B pillar, inside the plastic moulding the harness passes through to protect it at the base of the pillar, which is further back down the car than others appear to find it.

Does a fault on this green/white wire splice cause any problems other than remote locking?

It's not a bypass, it's a rejoining of the three wires. Bodsys Brake Bible

UPDATE,
The car is still as is with the central locking working sometimes and not when it feels like being a disappointment. If anyone can recommend a good but cheap auto electrician please let me know in West London Area.
The second thing now was I had a constant battery drain on the car every day having to start it with jump pack..... UNTIL the stereo died and has no power any more which has stopped the battery draining.
A quick question guys - Can i change my head unit to a aftermarket without losing any functions and is it a simple plug and play.
My vehicle is GS i believe the Base model no HK sound system.
I wish to install the unit myself, I will be purchasing a alpine system and a fascia kit with ISO connector block and Aeriel adapter is that all that is required??
I have read somewhere you need to chop and join a power connection is that in my case or in the more high spec line vehicles?
Thanks
Karim
