I am waiting to get tax refund, then I can spend on more toys!
I am really sick of the situation with 18" AT tyres. The latest - I rang Yokohama and they have 40 Geolandar AT-S in 265/60R18s at the docks now... only 40! I can see Cooper HT+ in my future as well...

Nope - they were useless... told me to ring Bob Jane. They "don't have it on the computer as Yokohama don't stock them yet." Couldn't give me a price or anything - "try again in about 2 weeks to see if they have them in the warehouse."
18" tyres in AT are a PITB at the moment!

I have installed a speaker in front. the cover easily pops off with a screwdriver. I then made up a plate like this
and installed a GME spk07 speaker (because I knew it would work) it is 8ohms 2 watts and works very well. this is the installed unit
running the cable is a doddle as it just drops straight down. use some stiff wire to install a draw wire if you have problems and you made need to nick the wifes make up mirror to see what you are doing. the hardest part was putting in the screws with my fat fingers. due to the extra width created by the plate I used a washer from a tap (as in water) kit to elevate it. more pics here http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails...amp;page=1

Caver - actually, I am holding off... I may have a lead to swap my spare set of 18" wheels over for 17" wheels.
