How are these for 'fitting' charges?? |
|
Asked my local landrover dealer (am in Norwich at the mo) how much to fit the following, and these are the prices i got.
Can anybody tell me where is close to me in Norwich that i can get a better deal? Looking for excellent standards though, hence why i asked a main dealer.
Front and rear light guards - £105.00+vat to fit
Roof Rails - £320 inc vat to supply and fit
RAI - £47.50 + vat to fit
Any info would help me out.
Thanks a lot.

Save about £200 and fit the roof rails yourself too, ( around £120 from Nick at Yeovil L/R), and not a difficult job. ( certainly not 2 HRS or more LABOUR). Do not presume that you will always have work carried out to a standard of 'excellence' at a L/R dealership, both they (and the technicians working on your vehicle) are NOT all of an equal standard.

Hi Cairnsdisco,
Save yourself a load of cash, honestly.
If I could fit the front and read lamp guards anyone can.
Scariest bit is drilling the 2 holes on each side for the rear guards. Best to check and double check before drilling and everything should be
The front ones need no drilling and should be fitted in no time at all. Took me no more that 10 minutes for the front guards and 30 for the read guards.
Mine came with roof rails fitted and I don't have the raised air intake so I can't comment on them.
