can you help me and how i can find the timing of the engine from the starter side i don't see any signs

England 2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Auto Stornoway GreyDiscovery 3

You won't see any marks there, just above and to the right of the starter motor is a plastic grommet, remove this and insert a flywheel locking pin in to the hole, this locks the engine and is the timed position.
Manual and Auto have different pins.
