Anyone know what size the machine screws used to hold on the FR rails are? Most of mine didn't survive removal and I can't find the remaining ones Csk M6 x 30 I think but need to be sure before I buy some The End

Stainless, whilst it is great for its corrosion resistance, will be more prone to "stripping" the hex head in my experience, so be careful when you tighten them. If you use a good thread locker, you don't have to overtighten them to stop them vibrating loose, plus they won't ever seize.
But Slimer, you probly know that already
The original ones got stripped on removal, problem is they had to be tightened down fairly hard (too hard) to get them flush with the rails so the brackets would slide over them. Hopefully I can get some new ones with slightly smaller heads so they'll sit a bit lower when tightenedThe End

Countersink the rails a bit more, I think it's just the coating on the rails that makes the set screws project above the channel
