Have you enabled 3 flash in the ccf as well as the bcu?

All sorted, I just assumed it all updated when doing the post 07 update so updated the bcm separately and all good.

Correct, that would be from the date of purchase. This text as been in the manual for a while now and is aimed at the professional tools. Our intention is to keep it free for the individual users. I will change the text in the user manual and website.

Yep they are aiming at the Pro market for the updates and new models as and when released to provide the revenue. Even if a fee was not paid the tool would still work as normal, but without further updates.
