@Pat, the range calculator seems to be a bit off, any chance you can make it more accurate?

I would assume you are talking about the MPG figures? For what vehicle? I suggest filling up your vehicle profile, quite handy when trying to answer a question Thumbs Up

Sorry, I''ve updated my profile.

To give you some background, just got my D4 on Saturday and drove 1,400km over the weekend back home.

the fuel gauge/range calculator seems a bit inaccurate:

- Day 1: drove 453km, range 230km, but when I filled up it only took 48.6L. Consumption: 10.73l/100km
- Day 2: drove 615km, range 85km, and only took 69.7L. Consumption: 11.34l/100km

now seeing it has an 82L tank, this means that:

- Day 1: it had 33L left, and the range should have been 307km
- Day 2: it had 12L left, and the range should have been 106km

just wondering why the range was out by so much?

It's like my iid cannot see it. It fired up automatically last week after I fixed the wiring.
The IIDTool might not have been able to communicate with your FBH upon connecting for the first time because of your wiring issue. When first connected, it scans the busses to determine which ECUs are present.

To force a re-scan, Menu->IIDTool Config->Find ECUs

Simple to do and simple to regret if your box is getting towards the end of its life - a reset can push a tired box over the edge.

As above, don't do it - your box has issues already, so you certainly wouldn't see any benefit of it, but it may well cause you more problems. Thumbs Up

How about activating reverse follow me home lights Thumbs Up
Then maybe updating your sat nav to allow input on the move. And then updating your Bluetooth .

Hi guys,

Going to LR Experience tomorrow, what's the recommended safe lift I can do before going off-road?

The owner's handbook states that off-road is Normal + 5.5cm, so my thinking is: increase the base level by 5.5 and I then I can stay in Normal height when off-road.

If/when need be I can go to Off-road height and get 11cm height.

thoughts on this method?
