Fitting instructions for RAI

Does anyone here have the instructions on line for fitting the RAI to the D3 pretty please?

Have you got one you need to take off or one in pieces that needs to go on?

I've just taken mine off to fit the new windscreen and could thus tell you how to fit/remove? But won't bore you unnecessarily if it's not relevant... Very Happy

Those instructions are as clear as mud...... The RAI effectively fits by using the metal gasket bolted to the lower part of the 'snorkel'... If this is a second hand one then that gasket will still be fitted. The pegs on this clip over the lower part of the air intake on the wing. The unit is held in place by two long bolts which bolt through the snorkel and screw into the rivnuts.....

You will need to drill two holes in the wing above the air intake. And then have two rivnut captive nuts fitted.... You need a special tool to fit these.... I actually have one if you want to borrow it and a couple of rivnut rivets....you will also need to fit one of these at the top of the windscreen pillar..
