Oil sump

Hi all

Last year I serviced my D3 myself after much advice from the forum, I recall someone suggesting I consider a new sump as I gather some owners had suffered a rotten sump.

When I serviced mine last year I did notice quite a bit of surface corrosion on the sump, as a service is now due I'm thinking of replacing the sump at the same time, does anyone know the part numbers required and cost. Any advice or instruction would be greatly appreciated as I've never changed a sump before but am more than willing to try it.

I will be again ordering the service kit from Advanced Factors.

Advanced list the sump and a price under the section for engines D3 and any bolts etc you may require. Thumbs Up

Very easy job. Make sure you buy a new gasket as well. You only need to torque the 14 bolts up to 10Nm. Shocked
