Drivers window problem

Whilst away this weekend I moved the Tom Tom to the side window as it had stopped charging due to it's overheating. I could then aim the A/C at it to cool it, which it did very well. When I then got to my caravan site in Boston, I completely forgot that it was on the drivers window and opened it to talk to the owner. I got the mount trapped between the door and window. I eventually freed the mount but the window now only drops about 4". If I send it back up and stick my hand in before it gets to the top it then drops to about 3" from the bottom. I have then sent it to the top but it will only come down 4" again. I have tried to reset it by holding the button when it gets to the top for ten seconds or more but to no effect.
Any thoughts oh clever ones?

Ok, I've managed to get the window to drop it's full length on one shot but it won't go up one shot. It opens on global opening but won't go up. I can only get the window to go up if I have the ignition on and hold the button up. The fuse (No 47) seems to be 20A and looks to be for all windows so would assume it can't be that.
Any help gratefully received guys.

OK, it reset itself.

Once the window is at the top, release the button and pull it up again to close even further. You will find that it moves another 2 - 3mm upwards. The auto close is now set again.

Cheers
