Hi Disco Mikey,
Could you please PM me regarding Alive Tuning on my 2015 Disco. The whole gearbox / engine hesitation thing is doing my head in.
I don't have a sufficient post count to PM you (though this one may tip me over the balance...). Anyway, I'm very interested in any solution to this car's only obvious but very blatant flaw. I don't want to sell it but if all other options are exhausted I shall.
Thanks in advance.
Ed.

I have a Disco 4 SDV6 and pulling away there was quite a lot of lag. I then had an ALIVE remap from Garry and it transformed the drive. Sorry for the pun it just made the car feel so much more ALIVE. I have had it on there for 3 months and i have been very impressed. If you are thinking of a remap don't hesitate Give Gary a call he is very helpful
PB, was that a bench remap or via the OBD2 port?--

I have had 2 vehicles done by Alive Tuning.
1st was a 2013 Defender which would not pull the skin off a rice pudding. ECU was removed whilst a quick modification was made then the Tune was installed via the OBD Socket. This tune made the defender drive so much better. it was quicker, Smoother and better on Fuel.
I also have a Discovery 4 2015 so i asked Gary if he could work his magic. ECU again was removed and installed in about 30 minutes!!! I was really impressed. But this time it was a lot quicker, much nicer to drive and better on fuel.
I am picking up a Range Rover tomorrow so guess where I'm going next week
About to sign up for an Alive remap from their local agent, much excitement 8)
If I have the correct figures from their site, output will be 216kW/700Nm, up from 180kW/600Nm.
Looking forward to the extra 36kW, but more to the extra 100Nm --

2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged
Figures are 316bhp/720Nm
0-60 time is now sub-7 seconds. That's quick enough to scare quite a few hot hatches
Is that on the 6-speed, or the 8-speed, or both? I have the 6-speed box--
