Del are you sure you didn't take a wrong turning? That looks like the Skye Bridge you've found. And the weather to match.

Isn't that a mining area? Should be plenty of 'watering holes'.

DSL are you going to trek Kebnekaise?

Most definitely not, whatever it is it sounds like hard work. This is a road trip, I keep workouts for the gym. Thumbs Up

Re pubs, no as this is a dry trip plus not sure I can afford the prices in pubs (if I found one) in Norway. Just had lovely cup of fresh coffee and couple of Danishes (the cakes, not the scantily clad Scandinavians) so feeling more human. Weather is forecast to improve overnight but the forecast also says moderate winds, not the 50mph winds here (some bridges show wind speed). I did question my sanity when I was standing out in the rain reading the text on a monument to the Battle of Narvik when I could wiki the info from the comfort of the car. Nice! I've always fancied driving on a frozen lake, but that one looks like it would end in tears and wet feet!

Dammit! Rekindled memories of my Iceland trip in the D1 and I have been saying to the missus we need to do a road trip to Norway. She loves the photos but not getting the love for wild camping....no sense of adventure that girl!

Have a safe and enjoyable trip.Jealous. Moi. Hhmmph Very Happy
