You could always replicate the effect of your car being in to have the sunroof fixed by parking round the corner out of sight for a week
Is there a market here for a digital reproduction, run yourself off a copy on a plotter et voila, the whole effect, maybe backlit for full realism?? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

CW, I sold my HSE week or so ago as had to fund new kitchen. I now have Mrs DSL's D3 (she has a Jazz) that has no sunrof. Not a real loss as never used the thing anyway but at least no worries re leaks.

Mine's being replaced at present with a 'new sunroof' at the local dealer, no quibble.

I've got a 2005 HSE, and mine is cracked on both sides as well. I will definitely bring this up during my next dealer service. Sounds like this is a common problem, if anyone has success in having this fixed by the LR dealer, please post your story.....Thanks.16 D4 Landmark
