It's something I would like to retrofit to my Landmark as it's one of the things I miss from the last car

That could be the rain sensor/light sensor that you're seeing Cheers Ian

Have it on my 2010 HSE, absolutely pants, so disabled it and didn't order it for SWMBOs 2016 HSE. It was/is just way too slow for my liking. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

My dim dip is very good. If you read the handbook it gives its limitations, bear this in mind, be brave and let it do its job. You soon learn what it can and cannot do, it reacts at least as quick if not quicker than myself, only thing it really struggles with is cars with aftermarket blue headlamps. Modern cars with blue lights are fine though. Discovery 4 3.0 HSE 2010 year. I like it a lot. Now with winch 😂

On my 2015 Discovery, the small green light in the rear view mirror has disappeared. Extensive searching reveals that this is an indicator for the automatic dipping/dimming of the mirror against glare from following vehicles. Then I read that there is an auto switch to turn this function on or off. Despite searching I cannot find it - or any switches on the mirror. Anyone throw a light on this? Thanks
Adrian.
