Thanks all.
Car came back all clear and they said it was an 'historic low fuel warning' that set off the error.
Have just noticed that the car looks to have been broken in overnight (as it was kept there).
No visable damage from the outside but the inner door shows gauging as does the either side of the door lock on the frame and the leather on end of door is also pretty beat up.
Passenger door has also been worked on but not half as bad as driver side.
Not off to the best of starts with this and so far LR customer service at the dealer has been terrible

You have 'none' selected for the colour. If you complete the profile it should work.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Heres a couple of pics of the damage from what seems to be an attempted break in

The bodywork should be easy enough to repair but I'm guess the slashes on the door cards cannot be repaired?
Is this known break in point for thieves on D4's?
There was nothing on display in the car so really don't know why they've tried to break in. Handbag etc on show then I could understand but what amazes me most is despite all the damage, there is no visable damage on the edge of the doors when viewed from the outside.

looks like that could be damage from the seatbelt buckle? are you sure its new? or maybe they were careless with it or something else hard?
unless you can prove it wasnt there before, you might have probs sorting it out:(
