If I may ask a stupid question...
If I have a Freelander 2 and a Disco 3 can I use the same one on both or do I need one for each.
I ask because the item description reads:
This tool covers one of the following vehicles:-
Defender L316 2007 on Discovery 3/LR3 L319 2004-09
Discovery 4/LR4 L319 2010 on
Freelander 2/LR2 L359
Range Rover Evoque L538 2011 on
Range Rover L322 2002-12

A BT model will cover both - you would need to purchase an additional license for £60 to unlock the enhanced functions (ECU programming, suspension calibration etc.) on the second vehicle. Standard functions (fault codes, live values etc.) are not VIN-locked and are available on any and all of the covered vehicles.
The same applies to the non-BT model, but it only covers one model type (there is cross compatibility between the Disco and RRS though).

Also got mine today (from Dan). Cleared the faults and have only 5 remaining, two being the steering column motors (its manual adjust), one being the n/s mirror vertical motor (it works)
Sorted out the MY07+ flash upgrade for the FBH light. Disabled the front parking sensors (rears now work). Great bit of kit.
