Yep, got one on the loan car. Also if the weather prediction for tonight is correct, I will be able to test the pre-heater, 2C apparently.

Think I would agree with you. try it! use a small torch (mini-maglite or similar) and shine it at the sensor, with the car 'booted up', the mirror should darken quite quickly...

Hmmm this site never fails to amaze me I have had my D3 for 5 months and never seen the led light so tonight I will be sat on the drive waiting for dark so that i can find this LED.
