well got a genuine LR fixed tow bar set up for a bargain price of £70, just need to remove it myself and then i'll get it freshly powder coated and fit it to the D4

With LR issuing a recall, would you not take it to a dealer and ask them to inspect it? If wear is found, they replace it with a fixed FOC.

I'm out of warranty in a few days and to be fair, it'd cost me more having time of work to take it down there, get a lift back, and then vice versa to collect it

Warranty isn't an issue, the recall covers from the earliest vehicles built.

Fair enough your deal is done now though dealers are pretty good with courtesy cars/vehicle collection/taxi's etc.

deal was done until i got there to remove it and it 100% wasnt coming off Laughing
