I see, a quick Google to compare the two and I see the difference now! Good to know its a relatively easy upgrade too. I'm getting there..............slowly!

Thank you mate, that's really kind of you. If I do head down after your 'inspection' then I'll be sure to reimburse you some how!

Took a quick look at it and on the face of it outside quite tidy. Panels straight and not too badly marked up. A few scuffs on the NSF bumper and NSR arch plastics. The boot though has lots of small scratches all over some deep I guessed from the efforts of a dog on its back legs scratching to be let in.
This was further confirmed on looking inside. The dog smell has almost been hidden by cleaning agents but is still noticeable, third row seat belts chewed and plastic broken of as well as areas of trim generally around rows two and three. The middle air vents have also been lightly chewed in row two along with damage to the door cards.
Front seats are shot in the base and will need new foam if you want to spend anytime in comfort and the steering wheel has bubbled and gone bad as they are apt to do. Middle row have a few cuts and tugs in the leather as well. Tried most of the toys, windows sat nav heated seats etc and they worked on the face of it and they say they will put a new MOT on.
2 owners from new the first in the east and the majority of stamps are from Lindacre in Ipswich. 2nd owner is in Wales and receipts are from a selection of garages. New turbo fitted in January this year and gearbox sump cover replaced according to the paperwork(such as it is from the indi's). Compressor worked and no warning lights did not check for fault codes though.
Overall it could look good from the outside and be smart with a little TLC, fog lights have damp in them quick fix and one headlight also slightly otherwise only the scratches on the back. Inside is very tired and needs a lot of love and for my liking a splattering of new bits to smarten it up. Headlining is also bad to the rear but may be salvageable with a professional clean.
Can not say on the mechanical side but as with any disco expect to pick up a few bills here and there, it's normal. No corrosion issues showing and no signs of accident damage. HPI clear. From chatting I think he would take between £7500-7750 if you had cash in your hand and hold your ground.
It would not be for me as I think that I would rather seek one that was tidier overall and always have my doubts about ever truly losing the dog smell. I would prefer to take a slightly more loved one with lower spec and add to it myself over time. Sorry I can not be of more help but if you want to PM me your number happy to give you a call if you want to know more.
