Is the plug still inserted in the Nave drive Robbo ?
As the voice commands are stored in there, the plug needs to be connected to the drive for it to stand a chance, not sure you need to have the extra wires connected, however I have not yet tried it Altox GSM FBH controller thread

sounds like its lost then, that was the combo I was thinking of.
As the commands are in the DVD drive, it needs to be connected, so plug out would never work, but if plug in doesn't with wires added too. its lost

yes true, I forgot about that , I tucked it away when I fitted the screen, perhaps that needs connecting up to the D4 screen?Altox GSM FBH controller thread

yes when plugged in on the GPS connection on the touchscreen FFRR SC 4.2
