Ordered my HSE in Kaikoura stone on the 1st of August but was told December delivery, I have just sent the dealer an email to see if he's knows a build date yet?

Just got email back from dealer, car now expected 2nd week in October instead of first week December,

Arr checked with dealer today on the Oct build date, replied that they turned out to be 'early Nov' dates... not sure I don't smell something.
Problem with not being on their doorstep and able to 'pop in' I guess. Oh well still earlier than the mid December original date.

Yes. Mine slipped from last week in October too first week in November. Not too concerned as that takes it over the road tax for Oct and I still get Oct's P/Ex price.

It's a bit like a carrot on a stick, am sure it will be worse once I am 'in country'!
Back a week on Monday for a flying visit to drop the dog off.
Will try to get to the dealer and see them face to face for a start! Maybe see if they have time for a test drive, not that it is going to change anything but might give me a fix for a few more weeks!Steve

Latest update is the build slipped slightly
Now scheduled for 12/14 Nov with an estimate of the 20 Nov at the dealer, just extended the hire/lease to the 22nd... could be tempting fate...Steve

Getting mine tomorrow so it's been brought forward a few days - getting impatient so spent half the day cleaning my current D4 even though I know it will get a thorough valet pre-sale. Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Got it and it does look the dogs nadgers. Great hand over at Taunton and off we went. We had to go to the Vet's this afternoon and om the way back in commuter traffic, I turned the Stop/Start off. Turned it back on as we approached home and it now doesn't appear to be working.
One other small point is that I ordered an SE Tech and all the spec is correct but the badging is just SE. Is that a mistake I wonder? HSE and HSE Luxury seems to be the precedent
This one has Goodyear Wranglers so and improvement on the Scorpions.

It is interesting the number of people who don't seem to like the stop start. I had been driving a 308SW in France for 18 months (it would restart on a hot day and aircon running) with it and now a VW Passat SW with it and it doesn't phase me, I don't even notice it most of the time.
Will see if it is any different in the LR when it arrives.

Here you go Steve.
I reckon that the colour is as good in the flesh as in the videos & etc. I've had a couple of positive comments from neighbours who prefer to the Nara Bronze that I had the time before last.
There is a screen saver that is a Disco in the forest and it's Kaikoura Stone. (Yeah! I know - sad innit.)
Rear camera much quicker to switch on, better image and better colour. It's mounted in a slightly different position from last time giving a better vertical downward view. It can now be switched when driving forward on by simply pressing two screens instead of the previous complicated procedure.
I didn't think that I'd like the wheels but they are much better in real time than in the "build your own" system.

It is built! Should be at dealer and ready by the weekend with a bit of luck!!!
