If that's the case, I am not sure what my options are. I need the convenience of a part ex but not at any cost! If I ordered the D4 I suppose I could try and secure a better price for my car nearer to the delivery date, but this complicates matters.
If only life was simple !

Metallic not standard on the SE Tech, it is a no cost option on the HSE and HSE lux. Metallic is £600. I have finance on the X5 so difficult to sell privately, I have been in contact with Gaz and had a very illuminating email exchange. I should hopefully get a fair chunk more for the X5 by selling to the trade, although I don't need to do this until Sep/Oct.
D4 deal agreed and once I chose the colour will pay the deposit and wait for delivery in Sep/Oct!
Thinking of going for Santorini Black and the Almond/Arabica leather combination.
Very impressed with Westover Land Rover and James!

Am sure that autoebid website is incorrect. The dealer sent me the latest MY15 price and spec spreadsheet and it definately says that metallic is extra on the SE and SE Tech, the same as the previous GS and XS specs. The car I chose had metallic added onto the price.

It's multiple pages. I have downloaded it to my desktop as an Excel file, so if anyone wants me to email it I can - send me a PM, or if one of the mods could have it and then download on a new sticky page that may help?

Convert it to *.pdf and uploa it to your gallery within this forum. 
Otherwise, if you have a google account or something similar, upload it there. With the google account you can uploa and convert it to a googleDoc an share the link. Cheers Patrick from Munich
