Job done - new hose fitted, £50 all in and edge of cover cut back so it won’t happen again
Looking at some of the picks makes me wonder if the hose length was changed?
Earlier post references incorrect fitting of engine cover – how? –it clips in or it doesn’t?

It is interesting looking at Mambosasa's pictures the pipe looks a slightly different shape. It also looks like the part numbers are different. Mambossa's looks like AH22-8260-BE and mine and Trackman's look like AH22-8260-BD (although the part number on Trackman's is really hard to see in the picture).

Checked mine again this morning and the cover was again in contact with the hose.

Booked in next week to have this looked at under warranty.

Loose the grey clamp at the top T with pliers and rotate the hose to the engine keeping the T in the same place, until it stays clear of the cover, loose pliers to get it gripped in position and finished. I saw mine starting to rub at upper side when new and it was cleared by this simple method. never more rubbing, is more a mounting failure than part problem.

Just checked my MY13 and it's got Part No. AH22-8260-BE. Plenty of clearance round the engine cover, but thanks for starting the topic. It's another thing to keep an eye on Bow down
