Technical Issues With LR4

Hi People,
I have a 30 month old LR4 TDV6 with 42K on the clock.
I started getting a series of messages and this happened for the first time,
-Stability control not available
-Gearbox Fault
-Emergency break assist not available
-not available
-Park break fault

Can anyone help/guide me with what I should do with the error message. I live in Sydney Australia. The car is still under new car warranty.

Cheers,
Lalo

First port of call - get your battery checked!
This can cascade faults all around the car.

Lalo - as Rich says, check the battery. If it is not the battery, it is probably the brake switch.

FWIW, I had a brake switch die when my MY11 D4 was 3 months old. The battery died at about 80,000km - about 2.5 years old - and was replaced by a new Exide AGM battery - under warranty.

The problem was with the brake switch and it was a small adjustment to the switch, which was covered under new car warrantee.

Cool, glad it was an easy fix.
Some people take a spare brake switch in their car as a spare, just in case Wink
