after a quick look around the Elddis Superstorm (circa2006/7) seems to be ticking the boxes.

We bought a 2007 one in September last year. We've been out a few times and love it. It tows well and there is plenty of room and storage inside. You cannot move it by hand so i would recommend a motor mover. Also, apparently the rear, nearside locker that opens to the outside with a power socket in can be a place where water can get in so make sure it is nice and dry in there.
I'm really pleased with ours. We're taking it to Devon in the summer. Can't wait! Bri

I had one before I bought a fifth wheeler, my friend has it now, a 2007 model.
I bought a proper memory foam mattes for mine and had it set up at the back all the time, not that much headroom under the bunks but much comfier for extended holidays.
Check for the floor area around the front end where the TV goes as they can start to move around there. Also a member of avforums.com

Ive got a 2005 Superstorm with the fixed rear bed and central shower/washroom.
Tows excellent behind the Disco but you need it as its a very heavy van.. had it from 6 months old and its the longest I have kept a van. been looking to change and visited the shows a couple of times but cant find anything that I like better.
The only issue I had with mine was cracks at the corner of the nearside front side window. Was repaired locally and the repair guy said he had seen a few of these. apparantly it was a build issue where slightly different sized wood frame was used around the window which was allowing flex and stress to the aluminium. anyway repaired four years ago and no problems since and no damp anywhere.
In summary a heavy van but because of that, solid build quality, loads of space and storage and quality fittings.

Thanks for the replies
Not a fan of fixed beds - which rules out lots of new vans
I like the fact that the rear area can be beds or bunks or settees and it can be segregated to allow the little people their own space.
'L' shaped lounge area is ideal for us.
I take it four wheel movers are a must if trying to park it down the side of the house
