NSF cv inner shaft advice
After spending a small fortune getting bushes and rear arms sorted the garage has politely advised me that the nsf inner cv joint/bearings have had water ingress and shaft has extra movement
I have looked on the forum and there seems to be a many part numbers flying around
I have been quoted for LR47295 drive shaft-LR024151 nut/washer- TDR500100 boot kit
Firstly is the boot kit required I assumed the drive shaft was complete ??
secondly I see there are many variants from gmk, britpart breamarc to landrover original
can any one recommend which is a good buy as they range from £130 - £299 plus vat
Any recommendations appreciated

GKN are well known and very good quality. A replacement hub/stake nut is only £3.90 http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/rfd500020...3313-p.aspGAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics

I recently changed the left hand side halfshaft and bought the genuine part from TLO. It was marked GKN and you will get the D4 halfshaft as the D3 variety has been changed for the D4 unit. This means a new variety of hubnut. The D3 hubnut do not fit the D4 halfshaft so you need to make sure you get a matching pair.

AMK DS8160 - Manual transmission only and they are still "In development" with them, so they have no stock anyway.Paul Redding
